My shower was on Sunday, and it was great. Here are some pics from the day so you can get a taste of what went down. Thanks to my seester and Lei for working so hard to make it happen! Thanks to everyone for contributing to the day.. Aaron for cooking, Aunty for letting us use the house, mom for the favors, everyone who drove (or flew, Kris) into town just to be there, decoration makers, people who took time to send gifts, it all makes me very happy :)
Walk in and first thing I see are onesies hanging up as decoration.. Aunty, Q, and K made all of these! So super cute, I love them all!! Kaitie even made one with a blog promo going down the side! hehehe www.babybiolos.blogspot.com
You can also see the onesies Ann, Lei, Owen, Trav and J-money made hanging over the fireplace.. surprised even the boys contributed hehe
They're all so awesome!!
You can also see the stack of presents forming.. We got so many!
Baby decorations as you enter the room
Cute favor boxes
Filled with delicious Honolulu Cookie Company cookies
(shipped from Hawaii from my mom and wrapped VERY well by UPS as she made sure of!)
Kaila's monogram and the super cute diaper cake!
Each diaper is individually rolled up and tied with yarn, then tied in one big bundle to the other diapers in the tier. Fancy ribbon goes around the tier as decoration. Then, random cute baby things are tied to the tiers to make it cute. It's topped with a floppy necked giraffe whose head is supported by a pink chopstick! Love it. All that work again, courtesy of seester and Lei
The adorable cake that matches the invites
My fave part of the cake.. what a cute elephant!!
Mom and Grandma hanging out before most of the other guests arrive
Three generations of lovely women
The spread: courtesy of my talented husband

He caters private events, by the way ;) and he's great at it!
(ask him to make bruschetta for every event like we do.. he'll roll his eyes at you, but they're delish!)
Playing games: measuring up ribbon to see who got closest to the circumference of my belly
Lei won. She was only off by about a half a cm!!
Julie thoroughly enjoying the contents of the dirty diaper
Candy bars are melted into diapers to look like.. well.. you're looking at the pictures.
People guess which candy bar is melted by looking and smelling the contents of each
Kris loves it
The intense investigation of the contents of the diapers
My mom to be ribbon!
Red velvet cake
Prego and Kris
Constructing diapers out of toilet paper: hurry, you only get 10 minutes!

Tracy putting on the final touches on Val's bootie
Team 2 went for am 80's Madonna look with the floppy ribbon on the head and an off the shoulder sexy suspender/diaper look
Team 1 put on a great show with thumb sucking and toddler waddling. As you can see, they gave Val some junk in her trunk
Team 3 went with the Hula girl look. As you can see, Deanne is sporting a haku, a flower in her hair, a lei, and a hula skirt diaper. She also demonstrated the "kaka walk" as pictured here
