Sonogram Numero Dos

As I mentioned in the last blog about our sonogram, the technician wasn't able to see Kaila's face, so our OB decided that we needed to go back for another ultrasound.  I'm glad we did.  This tech was much more friendly from the moment our eyes first met.  She used  A LOT of  jelly on my stomach and started gliding the wand over my belly.  This time the screen was turned towards both of us so we could see while she was looking.  She also described the things she found.

The tech told us that the placenta was positioned at the top.  We already knew that from the last sonogram, but she also told us that it was probably the reason why I haven't felt Kaila kicking or moving yet.  It's like an extra layer between her movement and my body.  She said her placenta was in the same place and she didn't feel baby movement until around the 23rd week.  That made me feel better.
