Had a busy past few days. Pops came in to town earrrrly in the morning on Wednesday. Aaron found a posting on Craigslist for a crib, changing table, and dresser for $250. Plus the guy threw in a baby swing, vibrating chair, 2 crib mattresses, baby snuggie holder thing, and a few other things. What a steal! Pops and Rocio ended up getting it for us as a late Christmas present and he and Aaron spent Thursday picking it up before they picked me up at work and we headed up to Long Beach. (Just got back and got to look at everything.. it all looks like it's in pretty good condition, and can't wait to set it all up!) We all had dinner at Nino's with Val and Aaron's mom that night, which was a fun time.

Next day we headed up to Cambria. The drive wasn't so bad, and the little town is really cute. We stayed at the Bluebird Inn, which was much cuter than pictured online. We stayed in a deluxe sweet with a fireplace and a patio that led out to the little garden which was next to a creek in the back. We basically hung out at the hotel after dinner that night, and as I was lying down watching TV, I felt a bubble in my stomach. I felt another one, and the third time it happened, I realized what I was feeling. So I turned to Aaron and said, "I think I just felt Kaila!" It was the first time I felt her moving around in there. I've been waiting so long and almost worrying that something was wrong since it seems like it's been taking so long. I'm thinking maybe it's because she was low below my belly button and my placenta wasn't in the way of feeling her. It was so exciting. I felt her move periodically for the next hour or two. Aaron started talking to her and I think she liked it because she was wiggling around in there in response, it seemed. So cute!
