We've been going over to visit Landon and his mom and dad for family dinner nights. He's so cute! Kaila loves him.. she looks at him and starts giggling.
She's getting really good at scaling along the furniture and walking around the living room. She seemed to be getting really good at crawling, but doesn't do it much. As soon as her feet touch the floor, she'd rather be walking than crawling. She always resists putting her butt on the floor. She still gets separation anxiety most of the time, but sometimes we can put her down and sooth her until she realizes we're still there and she's fine.
On valentine's day weekend mom came down so that Aaron and I could go out to dinner. It was really nice. We made an early reservation on Saturday at a nice Italian restaurant in La Jolla. We got ready and mom took Kaila into the kitchen while we snuck out the front door at around 5pm. It worked! She didn't cry and fuss much. Mom said she fed her and she was sleeping by 6:20. So wonderful. We were home by around 8:30pm, but she stayed asleep, and didn't wake up until 4am for a feeding. That part wasn't so fun, but at least she didn't have a rough night while we were out. The next day we did the farmer's market and dog park with mom. Great day, but so tiring. Very nice weekend.
