After a horrible first mother's day, Aaron cooked a nice dinner in the back yard and strung up lights to kinda make up for it. I had been talking about watermelon for a while, and he got a little one. Kaila really enjoyed it.
We went over to Mike and Steph's place for a bbq to celebrate Mike's birthday. We were all hanging out and Steph set Kaila down a couple feet away from her and told her to come, and she did it! She took four or five steps to her, the most she had taken thus far. Of course we had to repeat the moment so that I could take pictures, and she did it again! We were all so excited. Aaron and I had our mouths gaping open, and I may have shed a tear or two. It was truly such an exciting moment!
