Pee Incident

I was changing Kaila this morning, and put the new diaper under her while I bundled up the dirty one like I always do. She started peeing which was fine at first since the pee was going on the new diaper... but then the pee went up over her thigh and trickled under her back. So.. I gave her a bath. Then she was hungry so I fed her, and now she's sleeping in her bouncer. I texted Aaron this story and he thought it was funny.. So I figured I would document it for posterity. Basically, I want Kaila to know some of the things she put mommy and daddy through. Hehe

She's become more independent almost overnight, it seems. Just a few days ago I would have to bounce her in her bouncer with my foot while it was vibrating in order for her to be calm and sit in it and eventually fall asleep. Oh, and forget strapping her in, she wasn't having it.. So you would just have to sit near her and watch her. Starting yesterday, I just put her down in it and she fell asleep on her own and I could strap her in. I was able to do a few things around the house. Needless to say it was another welcome development! She's still sleeping, so I'm going to wash her bottles now.
