Today Kaila is three weeks old. It's unbelievable how quickly those weeks went by! It's all kind of a blur.. even the days go by so quickly. Each day is measured in 3 hour increments as we try to recollect the last time we fed Kaila to determine if the reason for her current squeals is a little girl with an empty stomach. She's still changing so much everyday. She's starting to fill out and she's becoming such a big girl.
Aunty Laureen made this adorable blanket for Kaila. It's absolutely amazing! The stitching is immaculate.
Here are a few picures of the munchkin from the past week:
Kaila's monkey bouncy chair
Miso loves to sniff his new sister..
he's still getting to know her, but he's already pretty protective of her.
Today was Kaila's first tub bath. She seemed to enjoy it.. the warm water was relaxing and we use a night time calming soap which seems to help, too. She definitely liked it more than sponge baths being held near the sink! Daddy set up the new tub and got the water temperature right.. the tub has a screen that lights up green when the temp is right. It turns red if it gets too hot. The tub also has slots that allow the water to keep circulating so the water stays fresh and warm.
Naked! (and furry..)
Her hair gets curly when it's wet
