After a long hiatus after Kalea was born, Jo and I finally managed to find a time when we were both free to hang out! Jo's daughter Kalea is the cutest, squishiest baby.. and is almost exactly a year younger than Kaila. We decided to go to the Safari Park with the babies. We were all ill prepared for the ridiculously warm weather we happened to have that day. The weeks prior had been so freezing cold, it was almost automatic to just throw Kaila in something long sleeved and some leg warmers. We were all fine, though. Kaila kept pointing to Kalea and saying, "baby." We rode the safari tram and had lunch at one of the eating spots in the park afterwards. Got to open Christmas presents and Kaila got a fun animal block set! They're cool and so different.. the blocks are in the shapes of animals and they're all different colors. Fun and educational all wrapped in one :) Really fun day!

jo was nice enough to scan it for me and gave me a copy, too..
after lunch, Kaila found a puddle
and went to town..
came home with wet leg warmers and socks, but it was worth it
