Went over to Ann and Trav's house for New Year's Eve. Trav had a few lobsters, so Aaron made a lobster cheesecake and a lobster risotto. I made butter mochi. Ann's mom made chinese chicken salad which lightened up the meal. It was all really good food. Kaila hadn't slept all day, and was reeeeally tired. She started crying and when she finally calmed down, she threw up all over Aaron and Ann and Trav's couch :( She does that when she cries too much sometimes. So, we ended up leaving early and spent the night in bed. Gave Kaila a quick shower which she was not happy about, and put her in new jammies and put her in bed. She woke up later with a dirty diaper, and then woke up again because our ghetto neighbors were firing their rifles. She woke up again possibly because of gas, and I finally just brought her to our bed where she spent the rest of the night. (it was 349am and I was so tired by that point because we had only gone to bed at around 2am). Woke up in the morning and she was totally fine. Aaron and I were still exhausted
buddies.. and they're both on their feet now!

We had been wanting to go to the snow for a while now, and one of my co-workers mentioned a place only an hour away from us. We kept checking the weather and looking online to see if we could figure out if there was still snow there, and today we found a website that said there were still patches of snow, enough to sled on. That was enough for us! So we got packed up, put Kaila and Miso in the car, and head out.
ready for the snow!

It was a lot of fun playing in the snow (and taking lots of pics of course) and then we had a little picnic lunch. Nice way to start the new year!
