Standing!

I got a text from Aaron while I was at work yesterday that said, "Kai grabbed her elephant and knocked down all the singamajigs in her dresser from her crib."  I glanced at it while I was at work, but didn't have time to let it really sink in.. Then maybe a half hour later, as I was leaving work, I saw that I got a picture message, and it was this:

So, apparently, Kaila stood up all by herself!  Aaron said he walked into her room the first time to find her little elephant (you can see it in the picture above in her crib behind her..) in her crib with her, and all the singamajigs (it's a stuffed animal that sings in harmony with the other singamajigs when you push on their stomachs.. see picture below) on the floor.  He was thinking it was weird, because we keep all of them on the dresser next to her crib.  The next time he walked in to her room after she woke up, she was standing up, holding the lamp with her left hand and the dresser with her right hand and crying.  haha  man, she's such a big girl already, I can't believe it.

Here she is happy as a clam, now that daddy's in the room with her.  She really does love standing.  Don't worry, if you're wondering, we lowered her crib, so she won't be toppling out of it any time soon.
